Last Thursday and Friday night (27th – 28th Nov), RappelzSEA had a mini roving tour to some @Cafes to mingle with players and LAN shop owners.

During the tour, promoters explained to players about the fun features in the new MMORPG and players were encouraged to play some demos. There was also a word-puzzle game and the team gave out prizes like a free limited-edition RappelzSEA t-shirt.

To make the forums a better place, we have sent in our Supa Tech Kitty to do some urgent database maintenance today, 1st December 2008, from 1200HRS (+8 GMT) to 1500HRS (+8 GMT).

You might want to note that while Kitty is at work, all Asiasoft forums will not be accessible. (Wouldn’t want to accidentally fry our Kitty now, would we?) So please be patient and wait for Supa Tech Kitty to finish his work before hitting the forums again.

AuditionSEA is bringing back the popular FAM Guild Tournament this December holidays. It will be a battle between feuding families, a showdown of the best FAM Guilds!

In the previous competition held in June ‘08, the winning FAM Guilds were ~TPU~Gamers, XtremeRevo, xPANGSAI and Love. But this December, can they still stand in the coveted winner’s circle? Or will it be your FAM Guild that gets recognized finally?

Pirates ahoy! Not just content with invading the world of MapleSEA, the Pirates landed at Marina Square today to mingle with the crowds and play some games. Aren’t they cute?

The Parade of the Pirates were at Marina Square and the two sweet Pirate Gals above were spotted distributing MapleSEA game clients; along with a Giant Walking Slurpee and Big Gulp which were a big(!) hit with the public.

Everyone was just swarming around the Slurpee and Big Gulp, shaking hands, hugging them and having photos taken together with them. It’s just amazing how wearing a full-body rubber suit can make you instantly popular.

There will be an online poll and the well-dressed buccaneer with the most votes will be the winner!

This Saturday (29th Nov), there will be a MapleStory Pirate Parade at 7-11, Marina Square!

Maplers can buy special Pirate series prepaid cards and also play some simple games to win limited edition pirate loot, as shown above.
