RappelzSEA held a special sign-up event at Game Haven on Sunday (21st Dec 2008) and I, along with the groups of people who turned up, had a chance to try out various jobs in the 3 races (Gaia, Deva, Asura) and explore the world of Rappelz.

The turnout at the event was quite good. Probably because the great deal of the day was the free Purple Ornitho Mount and other in-game items that came with every new sign-up.

The free items were:
Purple Ornitho Mount - Available for 15 days, move around the world of Rappelz in a jiffy.
Rupee Pouch Bag - Instant money! Double click on the Rupee Pouch and get 100,000 Rupees.
1 x Rank 2 Cube - Defense - An item to upgrade your armour to RANK 2
1 x Rank 2 Cube - Strike - An item to upgrade your weapon to RANK 2

These early birds received the limited edition RappelzSEA t-shirts for their eager participation.

One of the players was a fan of the game when it was hosted on the global servers. He’s checking out the skills table and probably thinking of how to retrain his new character. Hmm, if I’m not wrong, I think he was looking for a Dark Magician to demo.

For those who are new to Rappelz, one of the cool features of this free-to-play MMORPG is that you can tame monsters and train them to fight alongside you in many different quests.
