Instead of the usual blank stares, Ledner's animals are often found in poses and expressions that have elicit all too many "aww"s and giggles from people. From disgruntled rabbits to coy yaks to angry woodchucks, her photographs display the little quirks of each animal that transforms it from the garden variety animal portrait to a work of art that intrigues and delights. I would be more than happy to buy a few of her works but alas! Her prints' prices are a little out of my reach at the moment. Hmm, at least I know what will be going into my Christmas list this year...
